Race Cars and Machinery.....Two things that Hank Gentzler never had enough to say about. From sneaking under the fence at Williams Grove Speedway so he could scrape mud on Rick Ferkel’s car, to attending Willow Street Vo-Tech for Machine Shop. At the age of 18, the two would come together when he developed and manufactured his first racing related product, a torsion arm broach. Seven years later in 1982, Hanks Performance Products was born in the basement of his house. Through the years helping the likes of Bobby Allen, Steve Siegel, George Bishoff, Tony Diaz, Joey McCarthy, Joey Kuhn, Mark Richard, and Lance Dewease helped to keep Hank on the cutting edge of racing technology as the business continued to grow to what it is today. Mostly known through the sprint car community, he’s also built parts for go-karts, snowmobiles, late models, modifieds, NASCAR Busch Grand National stock cars, steering components for the Dodge Viper, and a fuel pump driver for Roger Penske’s Indy Car program.

Saldana Racing Products started in 1994 as 2 guys running a small aluminum fabrication shop called Wagoner & Clark. We built mostly sprint car oil tanks and power steering reservoirs. In late 1995 nationally famous and Knoxville Nationals winning sprint car driver Joe Saldana approached us about buying his racing fuel tank business. Joe was well established and respected in the industry and we agreed that his business was a perfect fit to our existing business so in Jan 1996 Saldana Racing Products was born. Winters Performance Products was started by Vaughn Winter, SR., and his wife Madeline in 1958 as Winters Transmissions. Family lore actually says the business started as early as 1953 when Vaughn borrowed $100 and began doing performance work to transmission on the kitchen table of their basement apartment. Upson his discharge from t eh Air Force, the couple moved back to their home town of York, PA, where Vaughn continued to work with converters and performance racing parts for transmission and drivelines. Soon after, Winters developed their aluminum, closed tube, quick change rear, which was patterned after Ford truck rear ends of the late 1930’s. Today, Winters builds products for the entire racing industry. Their products can be found in NASCAR Sprint Cup Cars, Dirt and Pavement Modifieds and Late Models, Bonneville Land Speed Trial Cars, Pulling Tractors, Pike’s Peak Hill Climbers, Off Shore Boats, Dragsters, Midget and Dwarf Cars, and 305, 360 and 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars.
